Abstract
[edit]The Europe AHS Map, managed by the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), identifies regional members officially recognized as free from this non-contagious equine disease. This status is vital for safe international trade under WTO agreements. Recognition is granted annually by the World Assembly of Delegates following a rigorous scientific assessment. To maintain this status, regions must submit annual reconfirmations, recognition can be suspended or reinstated based on disease outbreaks or successful.
